Thoughts on a rainy day in Auckland
There are always those moments in life where you think to yourself “I’m going to remember this forever.” certain things that have had a huge impact, places we’ve been to or people we’ve met. There are certain things in life that just - strike us. They strike us in such a way that we will always remember them, no matter what. Everyone has them. I personally associate memories better with music. I can listen to a song or a band and have memories of the time period in which i listened to them just pop up out of no where. And when that happens I can almost remember what it felt like to be there again, like a word on the tip of my tongue but I just can’t remember it. It is interesting though, because when I listen to those songs now all i can think of is where I was, and where I am now.
I feel a great sense of nostalgia for my past, I really do.

They should just combine the holidays and make it Steak, BJ, and Pi day, where you also make your man a pie, or whatever his favorite dessert is, and/or sit around discussing math, depending on how smart/nerdy your man is.

“Hokey Pokey” is a flavor here. And it’s filled with “hokey pokies” I have yet to know WHAT these are. I just know they’re delicious. And I can’t eat it without smiling.
